Volunteer Board Members
Darrell Fox is the younger brother of Terry Fox, for whom the Terry Fox Foundation and the Terry Fox Research Institute (TFRI) are named. In 1980, at the age of 17, Darrell joined Terry (and Terry’s best friend Doug Alward) on his Marathon of Hope in Saint John, New Brunswick. As Terry’s younger brother, Darrell has had a long history of involvement with the legacy founded by his brother. A holder of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, Darrell continues to be involved in projects and activities related to Terry Fox and his legacy.


Rob is a previous marathon competitor who erected a Terry Fox statue in Victoria 2005. He has been given a BC Community Award for his volunteerism , Victoria’s Philanthropy Award and Citizen Award. He lives in Victoria and SSI with his wife Joan. Rob has 4 children and 4 grandchildren. Rob currently chairs the Terry Fox Centre Bd and owns retail stores.

Phil brings to the board his 40 years of experience planning and designing museum exhibitions and communications programs around the world.


Adam Farquharson is a web developer based in Victoria, British Columbia. He has been making websites since 2018 and enjoys working with various Canadian non-profits.
Adam is excited to be part of this effort to preserve Terry Fox's artifacts. He is extremely inspired by Terry and hopes to help share Terry's story with the world.
